News From Abroad: Chapter 15

We drove into Brussels to go to the Comic Strip Museum. 

Didn't get a chance to do anything else in Brussels!

We went to Bon-Secours where there is a museum on the park/forest near by. 

There was a cool looking elevated tree walk in the picture, which ended up 

not being nearly as cool as we though because it only went about 300 feet

 into the woods. We went to a small dinosaur museum after though which was 

neat, especially since they had a great playground outside.

News From Abroad: Chapter 14

We went to the weekly market in Enghien, the girls got their first waffles (gaufres). 

We ended up meeting up with Jill's Great Aunt Ginette and cousin Isabelle, 

having dinner with them on Sunday!

Our fancy multi-course meal back at the house, I didn't include 

the huge rack of ribs and sausages from the market!

We spent the morning at the park in Enghien. It is a huge park 

with great walking paths, wildlife, interesting statues/monuments/buildings,

 and just happens to have a party going on for the Belgian independence day!

Back at our Gite in Belgium! Spent the day unwinding from the travel. 

There were some people staying here one of the weeks we were gone 

so some new toys had been pulled out of storage, the girls are 

having a great time with them!
