On the way to the lake, we came upon a tree down across 

both lanes of Rte. 2.  Howard stopped to try to move it out of 

the way.  Within minutes, several others had stopped and they 

had the mess cleaned up in short order.  One neighbor brought

his snow shovel out to shovel up the small bits.  It worked 

like a charm!
