  Llama Visits the Folks!

Sassafras stood just that still for most of the time.  He loved being 

petted and blew kisses sometimes.  When he backed up to us, we 

wondered...but turns out Llamas are like cats and are trained to go outside.

Aidan brought Gramps an American Flag for 

Memorial Day and July 4th. We all said

"The Pledge of Allegiance" while Aidan 

held the flag.

 It's a lazy Sunday afternoon!

Andy visited the Iowa Parrot Rescue Center 

on Sunday.  He made a friend!

Macaws live here and are able to visit back and forth and 

choose who they want to hang out with.  

Outdoor Flight Area

The art is for the birds to look at if they get bored with each other.

The guitar is used to play music.  The Macaws are partial to Jimmy

Buffet.  The Amazons like opera and the Cockatoos aren't picky 

and will dance to any music.  

For those who care, the guitar is a Martin!.
